How to make my divorce case final

I live in USA, married to US citizen, who staying with work contract at another country (Qatar).
I filed for divorce in december, 2011. I dont know how the system works in US, I dont know how to make my divorce happen. During my marriage (Since 2008) we bought condo in US. I have two my kids living with me(kids are from my first marriage ). This is my second marriage. The problem is, my husband does not want share anything, anything we got during our marriage. But I cant just leave, and go to live on streets. He brought me into US, I lost my life and everything there on Russian side, I lost my opportunities over there, and I lost time. And , plus I have kids, I just cant go with nothing. I need help with consultation on How to make my divorce finally happen?
